Narrative clusters in Russian media following the latest Ukrainian attacks

Representation in sample

The analysis covers the period from 1 to 3 June 2025. A total of 5,309 relevant posts were retrieved from Telegram (accounting for 90% of the dataset), Vkontake, Odnokassniki, Yandex Zen, and traditional media, using a combination of queries targeting various aspects of the topic ‘Operation Pautina [Spiderweb]’. Mentions in digests and unrelated news summaries were excluded. Posts were categorised by narrative type using a dedicated machine learning topic model; key narratives are briefly summarised in the Appendix
