Delaware reduced its unemployment claims backlog by more than 40%
State data shows pending unemployment insurance claims fell from more than 7,000 to fewer than 4,000 by December 2025, following workflow changes and staffing initiatives. The Delaware Department of Labor has said it is on track to be fully caught up by the end of Q1 2026.
