Camp Fire northwest of Ruidoso

The 720-acre Camp Fire has damaged three historic buildings and one outbuilding in the Fort Stanton historic site. The 1855 fort is one of the most-intact 19th century military forts in the country. Crews said they are holding fire lines and have contained 4% of the fire.
