Spotlight: Florida School Districts with Greatest Growth by Subject, 2025 to 2026

Top five school districts with the greatest improvement in overall ELA proficiency (top) and math proficiency (bottom) between 2025 and 2026 for students in grades 3-8 among non-charter public school districts.

STATE NOTE. Results reflect the FAST assessment administered to grades 3-8, accessed 6/26/26. "Proficiency" here includes students performing on or above grade level on the FAST (levels 3-5).
DISTRICT INCLUSION. Districts included in this figure are public non-charter regular school districts, as defined by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). Results are included only if all individual grade levels (between grades 3-8) did not have suppressed results (thus preventing accurate aggregation) or if the State Education Agency provided an aggregated district total for grades 3-8; in other words, smaller districts may not be represented here if grade-level results are suppressed. Both years must have available district data for the district to be included here.
GROWTH. Growth is defined here as the percentage point change between district performance in spring 2025 compared to spring 2026.
