Farming counties are split on climate change worries

This map shows the nation's 444 farming-dependent counties and the percentage of residents who said they were concerned about climate change, according to a 2024 Climate Opinion survey from Yale.

The USDA designates most counties by their main economic driver. For example, the USDA defines farming-dependent counties as counties where 25% or more of average annual earnings or 16% or more of jobs were in farming.
