Top destinations for agriclture exports from Tulare and Fresno counties
In both Fresno and Tulare counties – California's top two agriculture-producing counties – China and Hong Kong together are the second most prominent destination for in the number of export shipments of agricultural goods in 2017.
Figures reflect the number of phytosanitary certificates issued by Tulare and Fresno county agriculture inspectors for export shipments to the top 10 destinations for each county for 2017, the most recent year available. * China represented 1,583 shipments from Fresno County and 4,942 from Tulare County, while its territory Hong Kong represented 748 shipments from Fresno County and 773 from Tulare County. China and Hong Kong are combined in the above chart.
