UCs admitted fewer private school students after going test blind

Note that applicants from private high schools were academically much stronger than applicants from public high schools in 2022-24 but not in 2017-19.

The calculation is the number of admits who attended California private schools divided by the number of admits who attended California public and private schools, averaged over each three-year period. Other domestic and international admits are ignored. The UCs went test blind in 2021 but 2020 and 2021 are ignored to avoid pandemic effects.
