Gaming tax year to year

Casino tax revenue grew from $29 million in 2024 to $52 million last year. The state's Property Tax Credit Cash Fund got a huge cash infusion, to the tune of nearly $37 million in 2025.

Note: Tax due is a 20% calculation of total gaming revenue. Taxes are disbursed as follows: 70% to the Property Tax Credit Cash Fund, 12.5% to the city the casino sits in, 12.5% to the county the casino sits in, 2.5% to the State General Fund and 2.5% to the Compulsive Gamblers Assistance Fund.
