Post-pandemic, fewer freshmen are on track to graduate, and recent graduates are going to college less often. HS graduation rates and college course enrollment is up.

Definitions:
• Postsecondary Readiness: Percentage of students in grades 11 & 12 achieving either CCR benchmark on at least one of the following: SAT or ACT or AP or IB; or earning three or more college credits through dual credit coursework (i.e. dual enrollment, concurrent enrollment).
• Postsecondary Entrance: Percentage of graduating class enrolled in a 2- or 4-year institution any time during the first year after graduation.
•  Preparation for Postsecondary: Percentage of Grade 11 & 12 students participating in 2 AP/IB/dual credit courses; or 2 courses in a CTE cluster; or 2 workplace experience courses.
• 6- year Graduation Rate for Students with High Needs: Percentage of first time ninth graders who graduate with a regular high school diploma in six years or less.
• Graduation - On Track in 9thGrade: Percentage of Grade 9 students earning at least six credits in the year.
• 4-year Graduation Rate for All Students: Percentage of first time ninth graders who graduate with a regular high school diploma in four years or less.

These data are provided to CSDE by the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) and represent the values that were true at the time of the original data match conducted around one year after high school graduation. The NSC continues to update prior year values in every future year. Therefore, there may be slight differences when comparing the data in this table for Indicator 10 to other postsecondary entrance reports.
