Source: These data are from the CCHS, which occurred from 2021 to 2024 and enrolled 18–19-year-old students from community college campuses across the US.
Notes: Sexual minority and gender minority student categories are not mutually exclusive. Sexual minority students include those identifying as bisexual, pansexual, gay/lesbian, questioning, asexual, queer, or another sexual identity/prefer to self-describe (n=613). Respondents who wrote in straight were recorded as heterosexual and excluded. Gender minority students include those who identify as transgender and/or nonbinary (n=151). STI testing was assessed among sexually active participants, and STI history among those tested.
