East Jerusalem would become the capital of the Palestinian state with Arab neighbourhoods coming under Palestinian sovereignty and Jewish neighbourhoods coming under Israel sovereignty. The Old City (including al-Haram al-Sharif) would come under Palestinian sovereignty with the exception of the Jewish Quarter and the Wailing Wall that will come under Israeli sovereignty
