Gender disparities in Alzheimer's death rates

Across the eight counties of the San Joaquin Valley, death rates from Alzheimer's disease are higher for women than for men. The disparities in most of the Valley's counties are greater than California and nationwide.

Figures represent the average number of deaths attributed to Alzheimer's disease as a rate per 100,000 population for each county or geography for the five-year period of 2019 through 2023.
