A chart shows the age and gender gap in annual earnings of U.S. physicians. Female 25- to 34-year old physicians make an average of $103,000 while male physicians of the same age group make $118,000. Ages 35 to 54 make sizably more, at $230k for female physicians and $322k for male physicians. Female physicians between 55 and 64 years old make an average of $236k, while male physicians of the same age make $324k.
