AAPI Breast Cancer Death Rates Highest in the West

Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, Hawaii, and California saw the highest annual age-adjusted breast cancer death rates from 2018 through 2023 among Asian American and Pacific Islander women.

Note: States in gray did not have enough deaths to calculate a reliable rate. Most states in gray had relatively small Asian American populations. 2023 data is provisional.
