Switzerland has some of the most lenient tobacco regulations in Europe
Score out of 100 awarded to 37 European countries in the latest edition of the Tobacco Control Scale, in 2021. Switzerland ranks second last, ahead of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Switzerland is the only country represented that has not ratified the WHO Convention on Tobacco Control, and has therefore been deducted an additional point.
