Tariff counterstrikes hit up to $90B of US exports

Value, in U.S. dollars, of U.S. exports in 2024 that are, or might be, subject to tariffs from the EU, Canada and China.

Values of goods were converted from local currency to USD with the following exchange rates on Mar. 20: 1 USD = 0.922 EUR, 1.433 CAD, and 7.248 RMB (Yuan Renminbi). To calculate the estimated impact of the tariffs, data was obtained by 6-digit HS code level for U.S. exports to the EU and China, which are less granular than the tariffs presented by the European Commission. This might result in an overestimate for some values.
