Idaho is lagging far behind the nation's COVID-19 vaccination rates. Although vaccination rates for younger residents differ vastly between the Gem State and the U.S., the gap in senior shots comes while Idaho fails to meet a self-set waypoint. In Idaho, 75..2% of seniors have received at least one vaccine compared to 85.9% of American seniors; 48.4% of Idaho adults have received at least one shot compared to 62.5% of American adults; and 44.9% of Idahoans age 12 and up have received at least one shot compared to 59.9% of Americans 12 and up.
