Some US cities are much more densely populated with license plate readers than others

Based on counts of active automated license plate readers (ALPRs) identified by OpenStreetMap volunteers in each location, as curated by DeFlock. Note that these are just one specific type of camera — and do not include traffic cameras, transit cameras or private security cameras. Flock Safety is the best known purveyor of these cameras, but by no means the only one.
