First Year Enrollment by Ethnicity/Race (2023-2026)

Black, Hispanic, and Indigenous (BHI) enrollment at Cornell hit their lowest rates with the Class of 2030 since the Supreme Court's 2023 affirmative action ban, according to data published by Cornell's Office of Institutional Research & Planning.

The data puts each student in a single category, so the percentages add up to 100% before rounding. Any student that identifies as Hispanic, regardless of race, are counted as Hispanic in the data.
