Special Education Settlement Costs

The Inquirer sought special education settlement agreements from all 62 school districts in Montgomery, Bucks, Delaware, and Chester counties from Sept. 1, 2021 through Aug. 31, 2024. Of those, 31 provided records, five said they were already available on their websites, and eight provided cost information only.
The Inquirer tallied costs listed in the agreements for 11 districts. Some records didn't include full costs, including by not specifying how much tuition a district agreed to pay. The chart below also includes the eight districts that provided costs.  Districts that provided cost charts
