Post-Fire Rebuilding Progress Since 2017

An investigation by the Los Angeles Times tracked home rebuilding progress following fires since 2017, a period of record home loss. Overall, 38 percent of more than 22,000 destroyed homes have been rebuilt. Rates vary greatly, influenced by both topography and wealth.
