Note: Acute: acute care hospital; SNF: skilled nursing facility; vSNF: ventilator-equipped, skilled nursing facility; LTACH: Long-term, acute care hospital; Clinical cases are found from normal testing. Colonized are found from tests intended to screen specifically for Candida auris. The numbers reflect where cases were detected and not necessarily where they were contracted. Screening practices vary among facilities, with some facilities more actively screening patients upon admission.
