Snow seasons in coming decades

The average Australian snow season will decline under all climate scenarios.

Three line graphs showing the average snow season length under three climate scenarios from 2030 to 2080 In all three scenarios, season lengths are dropping but there is a slight uptick in the low-emissions scenario.
The modelling uses representative concentration pathways (RCP) and shared socioeconomic pathways (SSPs) to portray possible future greenhouse gas and aerosol emissions scenarios.
