Temporary homelessness rates by household income

A Kinder Institute survey shows lower-income residents of Harris, Fort Bend and Montgomery counties were significantly more likely to be temporarily homeless at some point in the past 12 months.

Note: Temporary homelessness is defined in the survey as living "temporarily in someone else’s home (i.e., couch surfing), in a hotel/motel or Airbnb, outside, in a car or tent, or in an overnight shelter.”
