How Maryland Plans to spend American Rescue Plan funds
On March 31, Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, R, along with Sen President Bill Ferguson, D-Baltimore, and House Speaker Adrienne Jones, D-Baltimore County, announced how the $3.9 billion in COVID-19 relief funds would be used in the state.
Federal Stimulus from the American Rescue Plan totaled $3.9 billion. Of those funds, $1.1 billion went to funding Unemployment Insurance.
