COVID-19 in San Diego County: Cases and vaccinations by ZIP code

Nearly 2.7 million San Diego County residents have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose, and the fully vaccinated rate outpaces that of the state. But high case numbers persist throughout much of the region, and there is no part of the county reporting what would qualify as low transmission. Hover over the map to see how each ZIP code is performing as of Dec. 8.

Case rate is the average daily number of cases per 100,000 residents in seven days, measured with data that has a seven-day lag. The county does not calculate case rates for areas with fewer than six cases or vaccination rates for populations under 1,000. ZIP codes with populations smaller than 5,000 have been combined. Vaccination rate is the number of people who have received at least one dose per 1,000 residents. County data does not include individuals vaccinated by Veterans Affairs or Department of Defense.
