Proportion of Students Behind Grade Level by Racial Diversity at Schools

Results from the School Pulse Panel, released by the Institute of Education Sciences, analyzed the proportion of students that schools (grouped in terms of diversity) reported were behind grade level before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Schools with a population made up of more than 75 percent minority students reported that half of their students on average were behind grade level before the pandemic began.
