Domestic tourism to the city has risen by at least 1 million visitors every year. More foreigners have been staying in New York City as well, but that may soon change—NYC & Co. recently predicted an international tourism drop of 300,000 people for 2017 as a reaction to anti-foreigner rhetoric and policies.
