Total taxes on Pittsburgh properties may top 26 mills

After Allegheny County last reassessed property, the total tax on property in Pittsburgh approached 22 mills. It has crept up, and Pittsburgh Council voted Sunday to boost the city's levy, which would put the total above 26 mills.
