A chart shows the share of U.S. adults who say they're religiously unaffiliated, by age group. All groups have a higher share in 2023 than they did in 2013. Among 30- to 49-year-olds, the share increased from 23% to 34%, the largest of all the categories. Overall, the share increased from 21% to 27%.
