Overall, 24% of adults approve of celebrities speaking out politically, 26% for pro athletes, 25% for large companies, and 43% for small businesses. The results show large gaps by political party, with just 11% of Republicans approving of celebrities speaking out compared with nearly 40% of Democrats. Both parties had the most agreement around small businesses.
