Protests across France, day by day

France saw more than 1,200 protests and riots of 100 or more people from September 15 to October 30, according to an analysis of ACLED data.

Events of 100 or more people were selected by keyword searches of ACLED event descriptions for education, public services and the cost of living. Because ACLED draws on media reporting, some events may not be captured.
