Crime rates per 1,000 students for 21 Maryland higher education institutions

For 2022, violent crimes made up more than half of crimes reported by Maryland colleges and universities that have at least 1,000 students, have on-campus housing and participate in federal student financial programs.

Note: Violent crimes are willful killings, rapes, robberies and aggravated assaults. Sexual crimes are rapes, fondling, incest and statutory rapes. Property crimes are burglaries, motor vehicle thefts and arson.
