Americans say preventative measures are essential for in-person schooling

A new AP-NORC poll finds majorities of Americans say daily disinfecting, temperature checks and face masks are essential to reopen K-12 schools in-person this fall.

Results based on interviews with 1,057 U.S. adults conducted July 16–20. The margin of error is ±4.3 percentage points for the full sample.
