By 43% to 26%, Britons think the development of an artificial general intelligence would make society worse

An artificial general intelligence (AGI) is defined as a form of artificial intelligence that can learn and think like a human being, meaning it can apply itself to any task. This is in contrast to narrow artificial intelligence, which can be applied to specific tasks but cannot think like a human being.

In general, do you think the development of artificial general intelligence (AGI) would make society better or worse, or do you think it would make no difference? (%)
