St. Charles base wages lag behind market

The base hourly wages of St. Charles Health System nurses have fallen behind the market in this review of nurses base pay from hospitals around the state. Between rising housing costs and cost of living increases, Central Oregon is less attractive for nurses and has made recruitment difficult for the health system.
