Shrinking Profits: Resale Gains Since 2021

The charts show for New Zealand and each region the percentage of properties that resold for a gross profit. In 2021, at the height of the post-Covid boom, almost every property made a profit. In 2025, the percentage of gain dropped to almost 80% in some regions.
