Work-Hour Volatility by Type of Volatility Experienced
The sample includes hourly workers (aged 19 and older) who participated in all four months, reported employment at the start of the survey, and did not stop working or reduce their hours due to vacation, school attendance, or chronic health issues. Work-hour volatility is calculated as the standard deviation of the arc percent change of hours across four months.
