Expected Runs are determined by Zain through the simple average of all T20 matches played since January 1, 2015. These are influenced by three key factors: 1) Innings Run Rate before the ball, 2) Number of Wickets Down before the ball, and 3) Innings Balls Remaining before the ball was bowled. Each ball faced by the batters yields a certain value of expected runs, which is then compared with the actual runs scored to calculate the Runs Above Average Replacement.
