Immigrants with no criminal record have been the largest group of ICE arrests in Maryland for months

In recent months, two-thirds of immigrants arrested in the state had never been charged with a crime.

Data includes administrative arrests in Maryland by ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations division through Oct. 15. Administrative arrests are for civil violations of U.S. immigration law. Data was filtered to exclude likely duplicates.
