Nearly 86% of Black respondents listed housing costs as a top concern

In a new poll of Sacramento region residents by Valley Vision, residents were asked to select four issues they were most concerned about. A higher percentage of Black respondents chose the cost of housing than any other racial group.

Other topics asked about included healthcare costs, cost of living & low wages, homelessness, a lack of opportunity, environmental threats, division & distrust, traffic, crime and quality of education. Data taken from residents of Sacramento, Yolo, El Dorado, Placer, Yuba and Sutter counties.
