Table 4 shows the minimum and maximum salaries for the entry-level classifications for the different organizations involved in the Unit 9 Salary Survey. The State of California entry-level position is Transportation Engineer A/B and has a minimum salary of $6,175 and a maximum salary of $8,848. Many of the organizations in the Unit 9 Salary Survey have a higher minimum salary and a higher maximum salary for their entry-level classification than the State.
