Charity gifts and pledges from the top 50 US donors

Donations rose sharply to $25 billion in 2020, from $16 billion in 2019, as the economy reeled but the wealthiest Americans got richer. This total was higher in 2006, when Warren Buffett made large pledges to foundations.
