nc student test scores by district and school

Data released today by the NC Department of Public Instruction show that more than half of elementary, middle and high school students failed to pass end of grade and course exams for the 2020-21 school year.
The rates below represent the composite scores for all students for all exams by district and school.

"GLP" is grade level proficient; "CCR" is college and career ready. "E/M" is elementary/middle; "H" is high.

Search your district or school below. The table can be sorted by clicking the column header.

*The passing rates are down compared to past years, but state and local education leaders cautioned against making comparisons because some exams are new and how different learning was during the pandemic.

The minimum number of scores needed to report data is ten. If the data contains less than ten scores/students the data is masked or not provided. Performance results greater than 95 percent are masked as >95 and results less than five percent are masked as <5.
