Recycling is up again in DeKalb County

The amount of recycling collected (in tons) in DeKalb dramatically decreased from a high in 2020 but officials couldn’t say why. In September 2023, after reports of crews mixing trash and recycling, the county put in place a new process to make sure they aren’t mixed.
