The Rental Affordability Curve, shown here for four different years, shows the proportion of rental units affordable at each renter household income percentile.
Curve in 1960 shows 86% of units affordable to the median renter, and 39% affordable at the 25th percentile. In 2023 there are 44% affordable at the median and 10% affordable at the 25th percentile.
