People in Connecticut who identify as Hispanic and Multiracial are experiencing a higher burden of symptoms of depression than other racial or ethnic groups.

Each racial and ethnic group is experiencing more days of feeling "down, depressed, or hopeless" than the percentage of the population that is estimated to have experienced depression at any point, according to the CDC's Behavioral Health Risk Factor Surveillance System data.

The BRFSS has data for more racial and ethnic groups than the Household Pulse Survey. These data were not combined. Data from June 2 to June 9, 2020.
