Multnomah County homeless population, by race

People of color, especially Indigenous and Black people, are overrepresented within the county's homeless population, according to an August estimate by Multnomah County obtained by The Oregonian/OregonLive. More comprehensive data due to be released in 2025 will be different than the August estimate, but the racial distribution is not likely to change substantially, county officials said. People included in the database were able to list multiple racial identities.
