Just 12 students – 4.6% of the Stanford GSB class – entered Healthcare. Chances are, they were glad they did. Their median base came in at $195,000 -- $35K and $40K better than runners-up Wharton School and Harvard Business School respectively (who placed a combined 61 MBA graduates into the field). As a whole, 6% of MBA grads chose to start in Healthcare, with the highest numbers coming out of Duke Fuqua (38), Wharton School (34) and North Carolina Kenan-Flagler (29). By the same token, 42.3% of the Rutgers MBA class selected jobs in the Healthcare field as well.
