Great Salt Lake average elevation over time

The Great Salt Lake has not reached an average elevation of 4,198 feet – its minimum level in the healthy range – since 2002.

Notes: Average is per water year. The healthy range identified by the Utah Department of Natural Resources lies between 4,198 and 4,205 feet above sea level. A rock-filled railroad causeway built in 1959 means the north and south arm elevations sometimes vary.
